Add Discs

On the Structural Data tab, in the Create group: Click Add Discs to add discs to the displayed data.

The cursor will change to a cross with a square in the centre. If you click in a position, a new disc will be created and displayed with the position you clicked as the centre. New discs are created using the scale and disc radius configured in the Structural Data form.

You can make changes to the location, dip direction and dip angle for the new disc using the methods outlined in Interacting with Structural Data.

A new disc will be created with every click, as long as the Add Discs tool is active. To deactivate the tool, click the icon again to toggle it off.

To add lineation cones to the Vizex display, use the Add Lineations tool.

You can delete discs using the Delete Structural Data tool.
