Scheduling

The Scheduling module creates operational and strategic schedules for the development of your mine to suit any planning horizon. Its features include:

• Operational schedules allow you to assign resources and calendars to tasks, and specify working hours, exception dates, rates, efficiencies, calendars and productivity exceptions.

• Strategic schedules use optimisation techniques to best satisfy your objectives, with attributes constrained by capacity and/or grade for ranges of periods.

• Different attributes and criteria for different types of tasks.

• Flexible facilities for importing tasks with expression-based assignment of attributes, automatic linkage to task group and/or other tasks with same resources, and automatic expression-based sequencing from specified reference date.

• Interactive Gantt Chart with support for viewing, editing, selecting, grouping, sorting and filtering of tasks.

• Automatic/manual assignment of dependencies between tasks to ensure that prerequisite tasks are completed in time.

• Automatic generation of cycles of sub-tasks to be performed for primary tasks of specified type(s).

• Interactive sequencing via Gantt Chart or Vizex.

• Interactive 3D visualisation of mine development of time via animation of task sequences.

• Detailed suite of reports that can be customised, summarised and have unit conversions applied using the new Report Generator.

• Exports wireframes with results from scheduling for use with other application facilities.
