Resources (Operational Schedules Only)

Resources complete work on tasks. Examples include equipment, such as drills, excavators and trucks, and personnel. Resources can be defined for Operational schedules only. When a Strategic schedule is loaded, the Resources group will not appear in the Schedule tab.

On the Scheduling | Schedule tab, in the Resources group:

• Click Manage Resource to to add, change and delete resources in the schedule. You will also need to define any productivity exceptions that apply to those resources.

  

• Click Allocate to allocate, or assign, resources to tasks.

  

• Click Show Overallocated Resources to toggle red highlighting of the names of overallocated resources in the Resources column of the Gantt Chart.
