Attributes
Attributes are data fields that can be assigned to tasks in the schedule. You can add new attributes as required and specify the name, type (numeric or character), units of measurement, default value, validation expression and reporting options for each attribute.
The attributes assigned to a task are determined by its task type. For further details on using the Schedule | Task Types | Manage option to configure task types, see: Manage
Core Attributes
Each task has a set of core attributes that are created for it automatically when it is added to the schedule. The core attributes are listed alphabetically below:

Calendar |
(Operational schedules only.) Working calendar for the task.
Selected from calendars defined using the Schedule | Calendars | Calendars option. |

Default Rate |
Rate at which the task should be completed when valid, more-specific rates are not available.
The rate is the maximum number of units of the quantity attribute that can be completed for the tasks in one (1) hour. |

Name |
Name of the task. |

Primary Task Name |
Name of the primary task for which the (auxiliary) task was created. |

Progress |
Percentage completed for the task. |
|
Resource |
(Operational schedules only.) Resource to be allocated to the task.
Selected from resources defined using the Schedule | Resources | Manage option. |

Task Category |
Name of the category to which the task is assigned.
Selected from task categories defined using the Schedule | Task Types | Categories | Manage option. |

Task Group |
Equivalent to Task Category. Retained for compatibility with previous releases. |

Task Type Name |
Name of the type of task. |
