Output Database

The Output Database tab of the Import Drillholes form is used to configure the details of the database to be created from the information in the import.

Database name

Enter the name of the output drillhole database. Alternatively, double-click (or click on the ellipsis) to select from a list of databases in the current project.

You will be prompted to overwrite the database or cancel.

You can also press F5 to create a new database. Press F4 to edit a database you have selected.

Auto load traces in Vizex

Select the Auto load traces in Vizex option to automatically load the drillhole trace layer in Vizex.

The autoloaded trace layer will load using the default Drillhole Trace layer settings with the Show Collar option set to ON.

Sort by Hole and Depth

Select the check box for each associated drillhole file for the database to sort by Hole ID and From/Depth - Collar, Survey, Interval and/or Event.

Remove blank records

Select this option to ensure no blank records are added to the drillhole database to be created.

Run

To begin the import process, click the Run button. If the specified output file already exists, you will be given the option of overwriting the file, or appending data to the file.
