Export
The options available on the File tab, in the Export group, allow data files to be exported to a variety of third-party data file formats. Quick access is given to the Text Export and Excel Export functions.

Select Export | ODBC to export file data to an ODBC data source. A data source name (DSN) is used to locate and connect to data which is stored in a proprietary database format (such as Microsoft Access or dBase), or which is stored in a text file, or as an Excel spreadsheet, etc.

Select Export | dBase to export a file to dBase (.dbf) database format.

Select Export | Strings to export string data to one of several third-party formats.

Select Export | Wireframes to export a wireframe (or a wireframe set) to a third-party file format. You can also export to a Micromine.DAT file format.

Select Export | Grid to export a Micromine (.GRD) Grid file to a third-party grid file format.

Select Export | Grids to XPAC to generate a composite grid file that can be imported directly into XPAC Scheduler.

Select Export | Block Model to export a block model. If you are exporting to a CSV file rather than a third-party file format, the option to change the block origin and recalculate the coordinates of the model is also provided.

Select Export | GIS to export data to various GIS formats.

Select Export | CAD to export data to various CAD formats.

Select Export | Google KML to export data to a Google Earth™ KML data file.

Select Export | GPS Formats to export data to various GPS formats.

Select Export | DXF (AutoCAD Ver.12) to export point and line data to a DXF file (DXF is an acronym for Drawing Exchange File).

Select Export | Whittle Proteus to export data for use in either single commodity or multiple commodity Whittle programs. Whittle Proteus functions allow more complex investigations of the economic potential of a deposit modelled in Micromine block model file format.

Select Export | Text to export data to export data to a text file in a variety of formats, including text dump, comma delimited, tab delimited, space delimited, other delimiter and spreadsheet. You can also write field names to the text file, in which case they may be enclosed using a character you specify.

Select Export | Excel to export data in a Micromine Data file to an Excel workbook.
