Open

On the Home tab or the Vizex tab, in the Plot group: Select Open to open a plot, plot document, or plot template file in the Plot Editor.

• To open a Plot Document (*.PEX), leave the file type set to the default.
• To open a Version 11 Plot, set the file type to PLOT (*.PEL).
• To open a Plot Template, set the file type to Plot Template (*.PTX) file type.

On the Home tab or the Vizex tab, in the Plot group: Select Open Template to open a plot template file in the Plot Editor.

The Open Template option automatically sets the file type to Plot Template (*.PTX).

On the Home tab or the Vizex tab, in the Plot group: Select Open | New Layout to select a template and use it as the basis for a plot layout. See: New Layout

There is a limit (50) on the number of Plot Documents that can be open in the Editor at the same time. This applies to documents opened from the Plot menu, or documents opened from a script or macro.

Look in

The default folder is the current project folder. If necessary, navigate to a different folder and select the file you want to open. Click Open.
