Append
The Append function enables you to combine two or more plot files into a single file. You can use it to build composite plots from separate plot files. When the plot files relate to the same area, you can use this function to overlay information on a plot.
You can exclude Labels or Linework from any plot file, append files to the Base plot file, or write the base and appended plot files to a new output file.
Append plofiles
For the base plot file and each plot file you want to append, enter the file name and choose whether to include LABELS, LINEWORK, or BOTH. Up to 12 files can be appended.
Base file
Enter the name for the Base plot file. This must be an existing file. If you do not want to create a new output file, then the plotfiles will be appended to the Base file.
Output file
Enter the name of an Output plot file. This is usually a new file, where the information from the selected plotfiles will be stored. If you want to append the data to the Base file, leave this section blank.
Finally, click OK to append the selected files to the Base plot file (or the Output plot file).
