Drape on Wireframe

On the Design tab, in the Editing group: Select Drape | Drape on Wireframe to drape strings or points onto a wireframe. The strings or points are dropped vertically onto the wireframe. In the case of strings, points are inserted wherever a string crosses a triangle boundary.

This tool is also available on the Mining | Underground Design tab, in the Wireframes group.

The Draping process will run automatically provided that the layer objects and the wireframes to be used as inputs to the process are selected in the display.

1. Select the strings or points to drape:

On the Design tab, in the Editing group, you can also select Drape on Wireframe … (form) to drape strings onto a wireframe created from associated geo-technical or topological data, then save the result strings to a file. See: Drape onto Wireframe
