Delete Segment

1. On the Design tab, in the Editing group: Select Delete Segment to delete the selected segments of a string.

   To select segments, see: Pick Partial String

   

2. If you have not already selected the string segments you want to delete, you will be prompted to select them:

   

3. The cursor shape changes to a cross. You will be prompted to select the segment you want to delete:

   

4. Continue to click on further points to delete them.

   

On the title bar of the application window, you can click Undo to undo the last action.
