Panel Types

Panel types will vary by site, depending on the requirements of the site, but will typically include the following:

Allocated People Panel Provides a summary of the roles undertaken by personnel allocated to equipment or locations.
Controlled Area Panel Consists of the Sign Controlled Area and Permit Controlled Area panels which define and monitor the Controlled Areas on site.
Manage Signs As part of the Controlled Area panel, Sign Controlled Area panels associate signs with controlled areas, typically to identify hazards or dangers in those areas.
Manage Permits Associate permits with controlled areas to restrict access to those areas.
Deviation Displays a list of all deviation notifications and their current status.
Equipment Allocation Similar to the Loaders and Trucks panel, this panel shows the relationship between primary units of equipment and their associated secondary units. Any unallocated units are displayed at the bottom of the panel.
Equipment Timelines Monitor the cycle states recorded against hauling and loading units.
Fuel Level Monitoring Shows the current level of fuel in selected equipment units, expressed as a percentage of total fuel capacity. This information is used by the Control Room Operator to schedule the refuelling of equipment units.
Loader Performance Panel Shows the workload and performance of loaders over a specified period of time. By varying cycle times and the number of trucks, it is possible to optimise loader waiting times and truck queuing times.
Loader and Trucks Panel Shows the relationship between loading and hauling equipment and provides a live view of the trucking cycle—the movement of trucks from loading, to dumping, then back to the loader.
Location Activity Panel This panel is a graphical representation of the equipment and the people allocated to selected locations. Use this panel to quickly allocate or deallocate equipment and people.
Location Status Panel The location status panel is used to monitor and edit the current primary status of selected locations.
Location Timeline The location timeline panel can be used to track location activities during the current shift.
Maintenance This panel is used to display the progress of equipment repairs at the workshop.
Material Movements This panel presents a summary of the material movements between selected source-destination locations.
Mobile (Telemetric) Health This panel lists the active Pitram Mobile units on site. The panel can be configured to highlight those units for which communications have not been received in the last x minutes.
Multiple Loaders and Trucks Panel The panel is appropriate for both open cut and underground operations, and provides a live view of the trucking cycle - loading, hauling, dumping, travelling empty and back to loading.
Non-critical Faults This panel is used to record equipment non critical faults. A non critical fault is one that been reported, but does not stop the unit from being operational.
Shift Plan A shift plan consists of a number of equipment and location tasks that are to be undertaken in a subsequent shift. A plan is made up of a number of tasks and each task is allocated to a particular time frame
In the Shift Plan panel, an Equipment-centric or a Location-centric view of the shift plan can be opened. The primary function of these views is to display current tasks and highlight those tasks that are behind schedule.
Short Interval Control This panel presents a spreadsheet view of the tasks created in the Shift Plan. Each row presents a synopsis of a task and its current status.
Tonnes Kilometres Per Hour (TKPH) This panel is used to monitor and compare the performance of the trucking fleet. This form of monitoring is typically appropriate to monitor tyre wear, for example
Train Panel Shows trains and dump locations that the loaded wagons of a train can be configured to dump at. Like other equipment panels, the Train panel relies on cycle statuses. When a wagon is loaded, the cycle status is automatically changed to Hauling. When the wagon is dumped, the cycle status is changed to Travelling Empty. These events are triggered by waypoint events.
Truck Trips Panel This panel is an excellent way to view the progress of trucks in the trucking cycle. It presents an up-to-date analysis of a truck's travel times across the Travelling Empty and the Hauling stages of the trucking cycle.
Unmapped Data The panel displays unmapped events submitted by Pitram Mobile. Unmapped events are events that do not correlate to current reference data.
Waypoint Activity Panel This panel provides the means of keeping track of equipment and personnel on site. It reports which equipment units and people have passed through the waypoints associated with locations on-site.
Web Display panel This panel can be used to display any internet or intranet page.
