Output Options
The Output Options tab of the Grade Estimator form is used to determine the optional fields that will be written to the specified output file.
The Extra Output Fields grid contains fields for the Attributes and Output Fields configured for the estimation. You can enter a name for each Output field column displayed in the grid.
If you select the Group output fields option, extra output fields are created as hierarchical groups (e.g. AU|Pass, AU|Count etc.). If the option is not selected, no hierarchical grouping will occur for the extra output fields. This option applies to all of the grids in the Output Options tab. You can sort the Extra Output Fields grid by Output Field using the column label to toggle sort order.
The extra fields available that can be output and for which you can manually enter names are as follows:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Pass Num |
The estimation pass number for this output field or group. |
Number of Samples |
The total number of samples for this pass for the output field or group. |
Number of Drillholes | The total number of drillholes included in this pass for the output field or group. |
Average Distance |
The average distance between samples for this pass. |
Closest Distance |
The closest distance between samples for this pass. |
Number of Sectors with Data |
The total number of sectors in the estimation that contain data, whether ignored or considered. |
Number of Data in each Sector |
The total number of data points contained in each sector for the output field or group. |
Autoload in Vizex | Select this option to automatically load the output in Vizex. |
Colour Set | The default colour set for the output to be loaded in Vizex. |
The Extra Kriging Output Fields grid contains fields for Kriging information that can be output and optionally named for each Output Field instance or group:
You can sort the Extra Kriging Output Fields grid by Output Field using the column label to toggle sort order.
The extra kriging output fields available are as follows:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Kringing Variance |
The minimised mean squared error variance. |
Kriging Efficiency |
A goodness of fit - the kriging variance normalised by the variance of the blocks, expressed as a percentage. |
Slope of Regression |
Provides a measure of the conditional bias in the estimates. |
Percent of Negative Weights |
The proportion (percentage) of negative kriging weights in the estimates. |
Standard Error |
The accuracy of the estimation based on the sample as a representative of the whole population. The standard error is the value by which the mean of this sample deviates from the mean of the whole estimation. |
The Write Back to Samples grid allows you to enter Accumulate Sample Weights to be written on output to the Samples in the estimation:
You can sort the Write Back to Samples grid by Model Group using the column label to toggle the sort direction.
Parameters Report
Double-click (F3) the Parameters Report field to select the file to which the report will be written when the estimation is performed.
Weighting Report
Double-click (F3) the Weighting Report field to select the file to which the information about the weighting for the estimation will be written, if required.
Block Stats
Double-click (F3) the Block Stats field to select the file to which information on the statistics of the blocks estimated in each pass will be written, if required. This report will contain information on the number of blocks which were estimated, so that you can see whether any were left out.
When the process is complete and the Reports have been generated, you can right-click in a report field and click View or Edit to open the report in the viewer.
