Vertical for Analysis Case

On the Scheduling | View tab, in the Interactive Dependencies group: Select Vertical | For Analysis Case to build vertical dependencies between bench solids for a simple analysis case using the Pit Shell Number, Bench Z and an optional Pit Identifier as inputs.

Bench Z Attribute

Select the attribute which contains the Z level of each bench.

Extraction number attribute

Specify the name of the attribute that contains extraction numbers. Extraction numbers are unique number assigned to an identifiable “extraction” of which a block forms part.

Group by

If multiple pits are being processed, an expression can be used, for example, to identify the pits in which the mining blocks are located.

If the expression field is blank, dependencies are built for a single group consisting of all tasks. If an expression is specified, the expression is evaluated for each task, and tasks are grouped accordingly. Different Block Size parameters can then be set for each group.

Case

Open pit analysis is the analysis of the ore reserves, waste tonnage, metal production and cash flows for the pit shell, or nested pit shells. The values of the ore reserves in the pit shell, or in each nested pit shell, are calculated using fixed element prices. Best case, worst case, or constant lag scenarios may be analysed.
