Operations

The following tools are provided on the Wireframe tab, in the Operations group:

• Click Surface to Solid to combine DTM surfaces to create a wireframe solid. The process can be validated to check for closure and intersecting triangles.

• Click Incremental Solids to create incremental, cumulative and/or remainder solids from a list of surfaces clipped to specified bounds and (optionally) topography.

  

• Click Cut to cut a wireframe using an orthogonal or transform cutting plane. You can choose which output wireframes to keep once the operation is complete.

• Click Slice to slice a wireframe using an orthogonal or transform cutting plane or the sections defined in a section control file.

• Click Create Mining Blocks to create mining blocks suitable for mine scheduling. As input, the Mine Planner requires mining blocks that are “indexed” based on a predefined 3D grid of rows, columns and benches.

• Click Solid Reconciliation to generate overbreak, underbreak and/or common wireframes between a series of solids.
