From Strings

On the Wireframe tab, in the From Strings group:

• Click Centreline to Solid (form) to generate a single wireframe, or generate multiple wireframes, from the polygons that define underground features such as drives.

  

• Click Surface or Solid from Profile to make a copy of an "extrusion profile" and triangulate the two profiles to build a surface or a solid.

  

• Click Build Polygonal Solids to generate polygonal solids that are mapped to the sections in an input (String or Outline) file. An associated set of nominal section planes, with Away and Towards measurements defined for each section plane, must also be defined in a section control file.

  

• Click Bedding Plane From Points to create a wireframe from points in plane. The function will generate a planar surface (defined by shape and length) for each point in the Input file. The orientation of each surface is dependant on the Dip and Dip Direction for each point.
