Seek Tool
There are three modes of operation:
- When you click on a point, the camera automatically moves to view the selected point and makes it the new centre for the rotation axes.
- When you hold down the CTRL key and click on a triangle or a closed polygon, the current working plane is adjusted to be the same as the triangle or polygon, so any newly added points will be on that plane or, if the points of a polygon are not coplanar, on the plane of best fit. This is a useful feature when you want to extrapolate beyond an existing surface.
- When you hold down the CTRL key and click on a block model, the camera is oriented to view the 2D slice or the block face (in 3D mode).
