Licensing Diagnostic Tool

The Micromine Licensing Diagnostic Tool is used to test the connection from a client device to the Network License Server (NLS) and the Network License Server to the Micromine Licensing Service (MLS).

  1. On the Network License Server or on the client PC, navigate to C:\Program Files\Micromine Network License Server and run the diagtool.exe.

    Note: If the tool doesn't exist at this location or you are looking to run it from a client PC, you can download it by clicking here.

  2. If running tests from the client device, populate the IP address or Hostname of the NLS (in the format 6200@123.456.7.8 or 6200@ExampleServer)

  3. If running tests from the NLS, both the MLS Tests need to return an “OK” result.
