Adjust to Elevation

On the Mining | Blast Design tab, in the Modify group: Select Adjust | Adjust to Elevation to extend or clip the length of selected holes to a specified elevation or a fixed depth.

Note: If the Dip value is positive for at least one selected hole, then such holes cannot be extended to an elevation lower than the existing toe elevation.

If you have not already selected the blastholes, you will prompted to do so by the Selection Assistant:

Alternatively, you can Digitise the required object/s using the button in the Selection Assistant toolbar. The Selection Assistant will close, providing access to the tools used to create the object.

Operation

In the Adjust to Elevation dialog, choose whether to extend the holes and preserve the relative length of each hole, or clip the holes so they do not go beyond the specified target elevation or fixed depth.

Adjust By

You can either enter a target elevation for the toes of the selected holes or enter a positive fixed depth value, which will either be added to the depth of each selected hole (in the case of extend) or used to adjust the depth of each hole (in the case of clip).

Entering an elevation value or fixed depth value which is higher than the toe elevation of one of more holes is invalid and a warning will be displayed.

If you click Yes to continue, only those holes with a toe elevation higher than the specified target elevation or depth will be extended.
