Boolean Union

On the Wireframe tab, in the Boolean group: Select Interactive Boolean | Boolean Union to perform a Boolean UNION operation on two or more intersecting wireframes in Vizex.

An advantage this interactive function has over the Boolean Union (form) function, is that a large number (and complex combination) of input wireframes are able to be processed.

The Interactive Boolean Union operation will run automatically, provided that the wireframes to be used in the process are selected in the display. You will be prompted to select a String layer as the active layer and the destination for the generated strings.

If you have not already selected the wireframes you will prompted to do so by the Selection Assistant.

  1. Select the wireframe objects to be used in the process and click on the Accept Selection (Next) button (or right-click). Note that you cannot load a wireframe or edit other objects while the process is active.
  1. To save the result wireframe, click the Save button (or right-click in the display and select Save or Save As from the right-click menu).
