Display

On the Vizex tab, in the Display group:

  • Click Change Theme to define the form sets to be used for the Background, Coordinate Grid, Scalebar and Axis Orientation, as well as default selection colours. You can quickly switch between different Vizex themes to suit your current workflow.

  • Select Display | Change Theme | Theme Settings to change the active Vizex theme or edit the properties of a Vizex theme.

  • Select Display | Toggle Headlight to enable or disable the Camera Headlight, which always illuminates the data from your current viewpoint.

  • Select Display | 3D Stereo View to toggle 3D Stereoscopic mode on and off.

  • You can also toggle 3D View mode off in the 3D View Settings form:

  • Select Display | Lighting Options to set lighting controls to enable or disable multiple light sources, directional lighting, and control over surface shininess.

  • Select Display | Background Options to setup a simple background, a gradient background, or a hemispherical background.

  • Select Display | Vertical Exaggeration to apply vertical exaggeration globally to the Z dimension of the 3D objects you load in Vizex. Note that these Z adjustments are applied to the display and are not applied to the coordinate data.

    You can also toggle Vertical Exaggeration on or off via the status bar.
