Section Control File From Drillhole Database
When a section view is active, this option is also available on the Vizex | Sections tab, in the Section Control File group.
Input
Input Drillhole Database
Use the list button or double-click (F3) to select the Database input file that contains the drillholes you want to use to define your sections. Optionally, you can apply a Filter to restrict which drillholes are used to create the section control file.
Modify Extents
Select the check box to enable the editing of the extents for the selected drillhole database.
East and North Origin fields
You can manually enter the East origin and the North origin of the drillhole database pattern (this point represents the South-West corner of the pattern) or click the Edit Extents button to collapse the form and visually adjust the extents. Interactively adjusting the extents rectangle in Vizex will update the values in the form.
Rotation
Enter the Rotation angle for the drillhole extents in the field provided.
Width
Enter the Width for the drillhole database extents.
Length
Enter the Length, or depth, for the drillhole database extents.
Section Settings
Select the Variable step size check box to enable variable step size in the sections for the file. If the check box is not selected, the step size will be fixed.
Minimum Step Size
Enter a minimum size for each step in the section. The default minimum step size is 20.
Section Azimuth
If required, enter a Azimuth value for the section in the field provided. The value defaults to Auto.
Section RL
If required, enter a RL value for the section in the field provided. The value defaults to Auto.
Section length
If required, enter a Length for the section in the field provided. The value defaults to Auto.
Configure the output file settings for the section control file using the Output tab.
