Create

Use the tools on the Grid / DTM tab, in the DTM Create group, to create a DTM using one of the following options:

• Click Interactive New DTM to generate a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) / topographic surface wireframe from data selected in Vizex. Data may include contours, spot heights, point clouds, LiDAR data or surveyed data points.

  

• Click New DTM to generate a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) / topographic surface wireframe from a file containing data such as contours, spot heights, point clouds, LiDAR data or surveyed data points.

  

• Select New Plane from Points to create a wireframe from points in plane. A polygonal restriction can be defined which will clip the triangle edges. Z values in the constraint file are recalculated and these are included during the surface creation.

  

• Click Generate Contours to generate a Contour file from a DTM.
