Generate
On the Drillhole tab, in the Generate group:
-
Select XYZ Coordinates | Downhole to calculate the ROOF, FLOOR, or MID-POINT of each sample in an Interval file or Event file. and write those coordinates to the file. An option to split long sample intervals into smaller intervals is available.
-
Select XYZ Coordinates | Line to calculate three dimensional coordinates for samples at regular intervals along straight lines and writes them to an output file. A sample number is allocated to each interval based on the sample number at the starting point of the line.
-
Select XYZ Coordinates | Trench to validate the data in a Trench Survey file and an Assay file, and creates a Trench Control file.
-
Select XYZ Coordinates | Interval to generate an Interval file from a String file. The Input file is validated to ensure that the field nominated as the TrenchID field does not contain duplicate values. If duplicate TrenchID values are found, an error message is displayed. You will need to edit the file to resolve duplicate values before running the function.
-
Click Trace to calculate coordinates and (optional) Interval attributes along a drillhole trace.
-
Click Create Pattern to define the spacing, azimuth, inclination and depth of the holes within a drillhole pattern. To create a non-rectangular pattern, the holes can be restricted to one or more polygons.
(This option is also available on the Drillhole | Planning tab, in the Planning group, when Drillhole Planning mode is active.)
