Manage Types

On the Wireframe tab, in the Manage group: Click Manage Types to open the Wireframe Types Manager.

The Wireframe Types Manager allows you to view and edit the wireframe types available for selection in the current project. A Wireframe Type can be selected from any folder location. Each type is stored in its own triangulation database (*.tridb) file.

• On the Wireframe tab, in the Manage group: Select Manage Types | New to create a new wireframe type, with the option to create the type from a template.

• On the Wireframe tab, in the Manage group: Select Manage Types | Copy to copy from one wireframe type to another. In most cases, you will using this function to create a new type.

• On the Wireframe tab, in the Manage group: Select Manage Types | Rename to rename a wireframe type.

• On the Wireframe tab, in the Manage group: Select Manage Types | Modify Structure to edit the user attributes of a wireframe type.

• On the Wireframe tab, in the Manage group: Select Manage Types | Compact to compact a selected wireframe type. A repair operation is performed automatically during compaction.

• On the Wireframe tab, in the Manage group: Select Manage Types | Optimise to optimise a selected wireframe type.

  Optimise

• On the Wireframe tab, in the Manage group: Select Manage Types | Convert |TDB File to Type to convert old format .TDB files to the new .tridb format. This conversion is a necessary part of the upgrade from a 32-bit to a 64-bit application.

  

  Convert from TDB File

• On the Wireframe tab, in the Manage group: Select Manage Types | Convert | Type to TDB File to convert wireframe types that have been created or saved in the new .tridb format to the old .TDB format. This conversion is provided for backward compatibility.
