Calculations

On the Survey tab, in the Calculations group:

  • Click Detail Coordinate to calculate detail coordinates from the survey observations stored in a file, and write the calculated Northing, Easting and RL values to fields in the same file.

  • Click Level Reduction to calculate the difference in height between successive levelling points. If the first and last points are Bench Marks (points with known elevations) then the height differences are adjusted accordingly.

  • Click Set Out to calculate bearings and distances from one or more instrument stations to a set of coordinated points. The source data is read from a file and the results are written to fields in the same file.

  • Click Survey Offset to calculate point coordinates, using offset values along a straight line between two stations. The converted output from this function can be used as input to the Centreline to Solid function (on the Survey tab, in the Underground Tools group).
