Import

On the Survey tab, in the Import group:

• Click Observations to import observations from a data recorder, either directly from the recorder, or from an ASCII file previously downloaded from the recorder.

• Click GSI to import data from a Leica Total Station GSI (Geo Serial Interface) file. GSI file data is stored as ASCII text, with one line per measurement. On each line there can be several blocks of data, with a blank space as the separator between them.

• Click Point Cloud to import point cloud data in LAS, Leica (PTS and PTX), or PLY file format. A point reduction filter allows the data to be imported and processed more efficiently.
