2D Block Index

On the Block Model tab, in the Block Model group: Select Index | 2D Block Index to add a unique index number to each record in a block model file or gridded seam file.

You must enter the Easting and Northing coordinates of the origin (shown in the illustration) and the X and Y block dimensions. These must be the same as those entered during interpolation (if the index numbers in the data file are to correspond with the blocks created by the estimation function).

File

Double-click (or click on the Select icon) to select the name of the input file.

East and North fields

Double-click (or click on the Select icon) to select the names of the coordinate fields in the input file.

2D Index field

Double-click (or click on the Select icon) to select the name of the field containing index block numbers.

An Index field will be added if one does not exists in the input file.

Easting and Northing origin

Enter the Easting and Northing coordinates of the block centre located in the bottom lower left corner of the area to index.

E and N block size

Enter the size of the block in the East and North dimensions in grid units.

Forms

Click the Forms button to select and open a saved form set, or if a form set has been loaded, save the current form set.

Run

Finally, click Run to run the indexing process.
