Convert

The following tools are available on the Grid / DTM tab, in the Grid Convert group:

• Click To DTM to convert a Micromine Grid Surface file to a Micromine DTM file. Use this function when you want to display a Grid Surface file as a Contour layer in Vizex. While preserving the topology of the DTM, the conversion process takes into account the trend in the data when choosing which diagonal to put the triangles on.

  

• Click To Data File to convert a Micromine Grid Surface (*.GRD) file, or a third-party Grid Surface file, to a Micromine Data file.

  

• Click File to Grid to convert a Micromine Data file to a Micromine Grid Surface (*.GRD) file.
