String Editing

On the Grade Control tab, in the String Editing group:

  • Click New Polygon to begin digitising a new closed string in the display. As an alternative, press the 'N' hot key to start a new polygon or string.

  • Select New Polygon | New Symmetrical Polygon to digitise the radius of a circle that will be used to create a symmetrical polygon. You can then specify a start angle and the number of points (sides) of the polygon.

  • Click Cut Polygons to split a polygon into multiple polygons using one or more cutting strings. The Cut Polygons tool can be used to create ore and waste parcels for grade control, or to subdivide a bench into blocks for scheduling.

  • Select Cut | Polygon Networks to generate a network of closed polygons from the intersection of selected polylines and polygons.
