On the Grade Control tab, in the Grade Control group:

  • Once your parcels and other grade control data have been loaded, select an option from the Setup menu.

    • If ore and waste parcels are defined by polygons, select Setup (Polygon) to configure the parcels for grade control.

    • When wireframes are generated as a result of the grade control calculation, select Setup (Wireframe) to configure their attributes.

  • Click Tag Ore to select ORE polygons or wireframes. Ore volumes are adjusted to exclude interior Waste parcels. A (+++) hatch is applied to the ORE parcels.

  • Click Tag Waste to select WASTE polygons or wireframes. A (---) hatching is applied to the WASTE parcels. If an Ore parcel contains Waste, its volume is reported as (ORE – WASTE).

  • Click Tag Top Surface to select a top bounding surface that will be used to limit the ore and waste parcels.

  • Click Tag Bottom Surface to select a bottom bounding surface that will be used to limit the ore and waste parcels.

  • Click Clear Tags to clear any grade control polygon or wireframe selections you have made.

  • Click Save Extruded Wireframes to save the wireframes extruded from tagged polygons.

  • Click Report to toggle automatic reporting on and off. When selected (ON), the report is automatically updated as tagged parcels (polygons or wireframes) are edited.

  • Click Update Report to produce a grade control report for the tagged polygons or wireframes.

Note: When processing tagged polygons, the Vizex viewpoint (at the time of pressing Report on the Grade Control tab, in the Grade Control group, is used to determine the Projection Plane from which polygons are extruded to produce wireframes. Therefore, the viewpoint should be aligned with the desired projection plane and direction before the tool is run.
