#6 Direct Block Scheduling -> EOP Surfaces -> Pit Designs -> Incremental Solids -> Mining Blocks
Summary
-
Run #1: Direct Block Schedule.
-
Create cumulative solids for selected end-of-period (EOP) pit shells.
-
Create pit designs for EOP cumulative solids.
-
Create incremental solids for pit designs.
-
Cut incremental solids into 3D grid of mining blocks split by pit design boundaries.
-
Calculate attributes from block model.
-
Use grid indexes to determine task (mining block) dependencies.
Steps
-
Run #1: Direct Block Schedule
-
Export end-of-period (EOP) surfaces for which pit designs are required
-
Scheduling | Schedule | Export | End-of-Period Surfaces
-
Set Period attribute = attribute containing period to which scheduled tasks are assigned
-
Press Autofill the grid icon button in top right corner of grid list
-
Set Start period and End period to required range of period numbers
-
Press Delete Row(s) icon button to remove rows for unrequired periods
-
Set Output Wireframe > Type = EOP Surfaces (for example)
-
-
Create cumulative solids for selected EOP surfaces
-
Mining | Task Preparation | Incremental Solids
-
Set Surfaces > Topography to topographic surface
-
Add Surfaces > DTM/Contour for each surface required from EOP Surfaces wireframe type
-
Set Output > Cumulative Solids to Type = EOP Cumulative Solids (for example)
-
Create pit designs for each end-of-period (EOP) cumulative solid
-
Set Setup > Topography = topographic surface
-
Set Guides > Adjust to Optimised Shell Boundary = Type and Name of EOP cumulative solid
-
Select Show Contours
-
-
Complete pit design for EOP cumulative solid
-
Select Export | Export Pit Strings
-
Set File = name of file to contain pit design strings for EOP cumulative solid
-
-
Continue from Step 4 in #5 Pit Optimisation -> Nested Pits -> Pit Designs -> Incremental Solids -> Mining Blocks
