Group By

On the Scheduling | View tab, in the Grouping group, you can apply Grouping Rules to the tasks in the Gantt by selecting the Task attributes and the Scheduler core attributes you want to Group By.

To create a rule, use the Attribute drop down menu to define the Task attributes and the Scheduler core attributes you want to include in the grouping rule, then select a Colour for the grouping bar that will be created in the Tasks List.

For numeric attributes, the Ascending check box can be used to control whether an attribute is sorted in ascending or descending order. When a Bin Size is specified, the tool will use the bin size and the minimum and maximum values of the nominated attribute to determine the number of groups.

The drop-down on the Scheduling | View tab, in the Grouping group, provides a list of pre-defined group rules, as well any rules you have saved as form sets.
