Structural Ribbons

Structural data ribbons can be displayed in Vizex as interactively editable 3D structural ribbons on the active layer.

Structural Data files (.mmstruct) are used for displaying and editing planar and linear oriented structures. Structural file data can be used to influence and shape implicit models.

On the Home tab or the Vizex tab, in the Layer group: Select Open Layer | Structural Ribbons (or double-click Structural Ribbons form set type in the Vizex Layer Types pane) to display and edit Structural Data Ribbons.

A new Structural Ribbons layer can be created using the New Layer | Structural Ribbon option on the Vizex tab, in the Layer group as well as the Structural Data | New Structural Ribbons option on the Design tab, in the Create group.

Alternatively, you can right click the layer node in the Vizex Layer Type tree and select New.
