This topic describes what's new in Micromine Origin & Beyond 2026.0 (version 26.0).

Featured Release Highlights

Micromine is pleased to bring you Micromine Origin & Beyond 2026.0, the latest release of its leading exploration and mine design software solution. The 2026.0 release contains many new features, enhancements, and improved functionality, which are detailed in this document.

Common

  • A new Vizex object layer has been created for displaying and editing Structural Data (Ribbons) oriented based on XYZ, dip and dip direction.

  • The Pick from Vizex button has been added context menu option has been added to various Wireframe, DAT and String File fields across the application to allow interactive selection of files and wireframe names from Vizex.

  • The Form Set Manager has been redesigned to provide more convenient ways to migrate form sets to different storage types.

  • The new Check In Check Out feature available in Nexus is now supported in the Vizex Layer Display context menu.

  • The ROSETTE Maths function has been added to the Expression Editor to support variable face angle constraints based on rosette within a wireframe.

  • Visibility options have been added to Colour and Hatch legends for a number of Drillhole layer types.

  • Moving and copying of wireframe types and subfolders using appropriate combinations of Drag-and-Drop, SHIFT and CTRL is now supported in the Wireframe Manager.

  • The Explode to Points tool has been added to support breaking of each segment on a selected string into a series of points

  • The option to output Points, Lines and/or Polygons and provide a custom Suffix has been added to GIS Export.

     

Origin

    • The Search Analysis tool has been added to support visual analysis and interrogation of a Grade Estimator run.

    • The Drillhole Tracker tool has been added to Drillholes to enable tracking of the deviation between a planned and active drillhole.

    • The Expand Block Model tool has been added to support the expansion of a block model in a specified direction.

    • The Missing Interval option has been added to the Drillhole validation Repair All options to support inserting missing intervals into an Interval file on repair.

       

    • Beyond

    • The Expand Constraint tool has been added to Pit Design (Dynamic) to allow the expansion of a selected constraint or partial constraint by a specified width.

    • The All Points on Selected Strings option has been added to the Profile Shape tool to support creation of the configured profile shape at every point along the selected string/s.

    • The Drive List tool has been added to Ring Design to display a list of the Drives for the Ring Design and optionally manage the details for each.

    • Support for Gurobi v12.0.2 has been added to the Schedule Optimiser. The Gurobi Compute Server for Micromine Origin & Beyond is now v12.0.2 and will accept connections from users of v10.0.0 or later.
