2-Point Rectangle

On the Design tab, in the Create group: Select Rectangle | 2-Pt Rectangle to create a screen-axis-aligned rectangle, either by clicking two corner points, or by clicking and dragging the mouse to define the rectangle.

When you have digitised the position of the two points, the Rectangle Properties form is displayed:

First and Second Points

If necessary, adjust the coordinates of the points that define the position and extent of the rectangle.

Preview

Click the Preview button to see a preview of the rectangle. If you are happy with the result, click OK. Otherwise adjust the parameters you have entered and preview again.

When the Rectangle has been created, you can hover on it to display the properties of the new shape:
