Split Shape at Intersections

On the Shape tab, in the Split/Merge group: Click Split Shape at Intersections to split a shape or a set of input shapes at intersections. The split shapes will inherit the properties of the input shape(s). (Ctrl+R,L)

1. If no shapes are selected, you will be prompted to select the input shape(s) to split:

   

   In this example, a single shape is selected:

   

2. Select the shape(s) that will used to split the input shape(s) at intersections:

   

   Splits of the original input shape can then be selected individually:
