Wireframe Names

Wireframe names are case sensitive. Mixed-case text is much easier to read than uppercase text, and thoughtful captialisation will add a meaningful hierarchy to wireframe names.

For example, TopoContours5m_v2 is easier to read at a glance than TOPOCONTOURS5M_V2, especially when it appears in a long list of other wireframes.

There are two situations where the application may return an error because it cannot find a mixed-case wireframe name:

• Old projects containing wireframe-related form sets dating back to the time when names were always converted to uppercase, no matter how they had been entered.
• Macros where the wireframe name has been manually entered into a replaceable field using uppercase text.

To resolve either of these errors, open the offending form or macro, reselect the wireframe, and then resave the form with the correct mixed-case name.
