Interpolate coal quality attributes

The input file for this function contains coal quality attributes for each seam on a hole by hole basis.

Because we are populating an existing block model file (rather than creating a new one), select the Blocks from file check box and select the SBM file.

This function needs to be run once for every seam. This is done by applying a filter to the Input and SBM file, restricting the records to the same seam for both.

The middle tab defines the modelling method – typically INVDISTPOW for coal quality. In the Data Search ensure that a large radius is used, but restrict this by using maximum points per sector.

The output file is also the SBM file (the same one used to define ‘Blocks from file’).

Using a replaceable value in the filter, save the form and setup a macro to run this for every seam. The first run will automatically add the attribute fields to the SBM file (using the same structure as the Input file).
