Saving a plot layout

Once you have created a plot layout by loading a template and/or adding and arranging plot frames, you can save it by doing one of the following:

1. Click the Save button on the Plot Editor toolbar, or
2. Select File | Save from the main menu, or
3. Press Ctrl+S.

By default, the layout is saved as a Plot Editor Document (.PEX) file. If you want to create similar layouts with different data, you can save the layout as a Plot Editor Template (.PTX) file. See: Saving a layout as a template
