Master Project

Typically, a Master project is used to link to the projects you want to work with. The data for those projects may be located in different places within a geographic region. By loading a map of that region in Vizex, you can use the Link fields in a point or string layer to associate each real world location with a project.

In Vizex, when you click on a location you want to look at, the application will load that project. When you close the project, the application will automatically re-open the Master project for you, ready to select a new location/project.

1. Click the Project tab to open the backstage menu.
2. Select Options | System | Project.
3. Select the "Enable Master project" check box and nominate a project as the Master project.

If you close a project (by selecting Project | Close on the Home tab, in the Projects group) the Master project will open automatically.
