Trench End Points
Used when the input coordinates represent the start of the first sample and the end of the last sample - where samples have a length rather than a point location. Typical applications are pit floor sampling trenches or channel samples, where the start and end of each trench is surveyed.
The option determines the number of samples from the consecutive sample numbers, then calculates the coordinates of the midpoints of each sample by apportioning the distance between the end points.
