Add Development Network
A case that has the Data > Development Network option enabled as part of its Scenario Settings is able to support underground mine scheduling and reserving. Inputs to the process are Centreline strings which represent a Development Network and Solids which represent the stopes to be mined. From these, a set of scheduling solids are generated under a "Development Network Layers" node of the Design Data pane.
To create a Development Network:
-
In the Design Data pane, right-click on the Development Network Layers node
and select Add | New Development Network.
In the Workflow Pane, you can also navigate to this function as part of your Scheduling Workflow.
-
A "New Network Layer"
is added in the Design Data pane.
-
Rename the new layer.
Once a Development Network Layer has been created, there are a number of ways in which the layer can be populated:
-
The Import | Shapes from Design function provides a way to add centreline data to an existing or new Network Development Layer and map shape properties to attributes. The Import process can be run multiple times for the same Development Network layer (to add more and more data to the layer). See: Import Shapes from Design
-
Import an existing Development Network Layer (.xml) Export file to create a new Development Network Layer. See: Import Layers
-
When the Centreline shapes in a Centreline layer are selected in the Animation Window, right-click and select Copy to Layer to copy those centrelines to an existing Development Network Layer and manually assign attributes. See: Copy/Move to Layer
