Layer Files

When either the Design window or the Animation window is open, you can export layers to a proprietary Layer File (*.layer) format. This format is used when layers are uploaded to/downloaded from Nexus. See: Nexus

To export an individual layer:

1. Under the Layers node, right-click on the name of a layer in the Design Data pane.

2. Select Export | Layer File from the right-click menu:

3. You will be prompted to navigate to the folder location of the .layer file you want to save. The default folder is your project folder.
