Tunnel Visualiser
The Tunnel Visualiser can be used to highlight any discrepancies between the Development Network and generated tunnel solids. This might be as a result of changes made to the network after the tunnel solids were generated. Tunnel visualisation also allows dependencies to be more easily derived from the centreline and stope connectivity of the network.
When visualisation is turned off, clicking the Tunnel Visualiser icon enables several visualisation options on a drop-down menu. Subsequently clicking the Tunnel Visualiser will toggle the display of overlays on and off (and is the same as selecting Show/Hide from the drop-down menu).
To disable visualisation, select Cancel from the drop-down menu.
Show All/Show Only Tunnels
Toggle this setting to show all network lines or only show tunnel centrelines. When Show Only Tunnels is the active setting, the centrelines of declines, cross-cuts and vertical shafts are hidden.
Note that this does not affect the current (Silhouettes, Profiles, Centrelines) Overlay Mode selection.
Overlay Modes
The visualisation is based on the (Silhouettes, Profiles, Centrelines) Overlay Modes you select from the Tunnel Visualiser drop-down menu.
Mode | Description |
---|---|
Centrelines | Show the centrelines of tunnels. |
![]() |
|
Silhouettes | Show the tunnel silhouettes either side of the centrelines. |
![]() |
|
Profiles | Show the profiles that align with the silhouettes of the tunnels. |
![]() |
Overlay Sources
Source | Description |
---|---|
Solids | The Solids Overlay Source shows the tunnel solids that were generated from the Tunnels setup in a previous session (if any). |
Tunnels | The "Tunnels" Overlay Source shows tunnels generated during the current session from the current Tunnels setup (if any). In other words, if tunnel solids have NOT been generated during the current session, this overlay is unavailable. |
Note that Tunnel Overlay source information is not retained between sessions. If you have generated tunnel solids and then save and close Advance, when you re-open Advance, the Tunnel Overlay source becomes the new Solids Overlay source.
Export Shapes
Select this option to export shapes to a new layer. A "Tunnel Visualiser <n>" named layer is created under Layers in the Design Data pane.
Show/Hide
Select this option to toggle the display of overlays on and off (you can also do this by clicking the Tunnel Visualiser icon when visualisation is enabled).
Cancel
Click Cancel to disable the Tunnel Visualiser and hide the drop-down menu.
