Visualise Scenario

1. On the Design tab, in the Overlay group: Select Visualise Scenario to show a comparison between progress in the current case/schedule and what was done up until then in a chosen comparison case/schedule. (CTRL + O, V)

   

2. Before you select the case you want to compare against the current case/schedule, note that the current case is already ticked:

   

   In this example, schedule progress for the current case is shown in light blue:

   

3. Select the comparison case to overlay:

   

4. You may not see any change in the Animation Window until you select an appropriate (Yearly, Monthly, Daily) Reporting Level.

   You should then see an overlay of the comparison case:

   

5. To make the comparison clearer, set a contrasting solid overlay colour selection for the comparison case:

   

   

   You can also set the default solid overlay colour via All Settings:

   

Show/Hide

Select this option to toggle the display of overlays on and off (you can also do this by clicking the Scenario Visualiser icon when visualisation is enabled).

Cancel

Click Cancel to disable the Scenario Visualiser and hide the drop-down menu.
