Close String

On the Design tab, in the Editing group: Click the Close String tool to close a selected (open) string. The start and end point of the string will be connected by a new segment.

To close a broken string, i.e.  join two open ends so that the string becomes continuous:

1. Select the string.
2. Select the Close String button on the Edit Strings toolbar. The vertices of the selected string will be highlighted



3. Alternatively, right-click on the string and select Close from the right-click menu, or click the Close String button to display the Selection Assistant, which will guide you through the process.
