On the File | File Editor tab, in the Edit Records group: Use Replicate One (CTRL + R) and Replicate Many (CTRL + SHIFT + R) to copy the contents of a field to the same field in successive records.
This option is also available on the Lookup Table Editor tab for Lookup Tables.
