Edit Mode

On the File | File Editor tab, in the Edit Mode group :

  • The options on the Sync Selection menu allow data selections to be synchronised between different (Chart, Vizex, Drillhole Viewer and File Editor) views of the same data.

  • Click Skip Records to toggle Skip Records mode on and off. When Skip Records mode is ON you can specify the number of records to skip.

  • Click Define Increment to define the increment value used by the Increment One and Increment Many functions.

  • Click Increment Last Numeric Component to toggle Increment Last Numeric Component mode on and off.

  • Click Ditto to copy the contents from the cell above the current cell to the current cell (CTRL + ').

  • Click Verify Mode to toggle Verify mode on and off. When this mode is enabled (the icon is highlighted), you will be prompted to verify every edit you make.

  • Click Overwrite Mode to choose whether or not to overwrite field contents when using the Increment Many, Replicate Many and Execute Many tools.

  • Click Enter = Tab (CTRL + ENTER) to toggle ENTER key mode between TAB (across) and Down.

These options are also available on the File | Lookup Table Editor tab, in the Edit Mode group for Lookup Tables.
