Design Element Visibility

A Design Visibility drop-down menu is available on the Design ribbon tab, in the View group, when either the Design Window or the Animation View has focus. When the Animation View has focus, the Design Visibility drop-down menu is also accessible on the Home ribbon tab in the View group.

You can also right-click in the display window to access the same options.

The accessibility of these menus can be controlled via a ui_design_element_visibility_options_on_ribbon user setting under All Settings. See: Visibility Settings

Visibility Setting	Description
Hide all	Hide all design elements.
Show all	Show all design elements.
Invert visible	When elements are currently hidden, make visible design elements hidden and show those elements that are hidden
Hide selection	When one or more elements are selected, hide those elements.
Hide not selected	When one or more elements are selected, hide any elements that are not selected.
