DXF/DWG

You can import an AutoCAD (DXF or DWG) file into the application when either the Design Window or the Animation Window is open:

  1. Select Import | DXF Design File from the context menu on the application window title bar:

  1. Alternatively, In the Design Data pane, right click on an individual layer, folder or group and select Import | DXF/DWG:

  1. You will be prompted to navigate to the folder location of the (.dxf, dwg) file you want to import.

Create folder for each file

Select this check box to import each layer to a folder based on the file name. Each file name-folder is created within the specified Layer Folder (if any). See Below.

If you selected this Import option by right-clicking on a folder in the Design Data pane, that folder is shown as the Layer Folder. You can specify the name of a different folder or a new folder. If no Layer folder name is specified, the imported layer is added under the Layers node in the Design Data pane.

Accept

Click Accept to proceed with the Import (or Cancel).
